Every year HUGGS collaborate with Tennessee Dept. of Correction to ask if the inmates would like to be a part of our essay contest for Christmas. The parents, who are incarcerated, with children have to write an essay addressing “Why should my child(ren) be chosen for this event?" The winners are chosen by a committee.
